We held the meetup at the amazing Just Join IT office, on the 16th floor of Marszałkowska 107 building, with a great view of the city centre. The spacious room was filled with a hundred of AI enthusiasts.
Part of the first Poland Tech Week
Poland Tech Week, held in Warsaw, is the first edition of this popular format in Poland. It is organized by the team behind Amsterdam Tech Week and EU Tech Week. The conference doesn't have one main stage or central location; instead, there are over 40 free events organized by companies, investors, and communities across the city.
Our AI Builders Warsaw was one of the most popular events on the calendar.
Inside the October Edition
The evening opened with two talks from the agenda, both about coding agents and how teams work with them.
- Franek Jabłoński opened with Agentic SDLC: What Agile Looks Like When Agents Do the Work, on how the software development process changes when agents take over part of the work.
- Konrad Bujak followed with Why I Don't Use Claude Code in Commercial Projects, sharing his reasons for keeping one of the most popular coding tools out of client work.
The audience takes the stage
The planned third speaker couldn't make it, which left a free slot in the agenda. We have made a spontaneous decision to offer it to the audience: anyone building something could come up and present their project.
Several brave people took the chance: each improv pitch was short and unprepared, and covered what the person is building and which problem it solves. Surprisingly, people loved the open mic part, especially that it made the following networking much more interesting – so much more interesting that we continued them in a pub close by.
What this means, three editions in
So far AI Builders Warsaw has brought together hundreds of engineers, founders, and product people who are building AI solutions on a daily basis. We can see that each meetup brings people back, alongside an influx of new faces. The October open mic showed what this group looks like up close: when we asked who was building something, several people were ready to present their project on the spot.
What's next
The next (and last edition this year) takes place on Wednesday, December 2. It will close the first year of AI Builders Warsaw started in August. It's a chance to catch up with people you met at earlier editions and hear what they're working on now. If you haven't been yet, this is the last chance in 2026. Registration is open on Luma.
